UV indicator which is only visible under UV light verifies primer application, reducing priming errors and increasing quality control.

It promotes adhesion to a wide range of difficult to stick to substrates including polypropylene, ABS, acrylic, polycarbonate, nylon, FRP, rigid PVC, glass, metal, painted surfaces and PET/PBT blends to name a few.

Compared to 3M™ Primer 94, this primer has an improved environmental, health and safety profile.

Improved environmental, health and safety profile

This primer does not contain Toluene, Xylene, Chlorobenzene, as well as halogens including chlorinated compounds.

UV Indicator

Once applied, 3M VHB Tape Universal Primer is visible under UV light to check a consistent application has been achieved, reducing the chance of error and enhancing your quality control process.

Quick Dry Time

Increase speed and productivity.

Excess can be removed with acetone
Light yellow in colour with fluorescent bluish tint

Bonding surfaces must be clean and dry before the primer is used. Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water mixture using a clean lint free cloth to wipe the surface prior to application.
